What is EWKF and DIVID?
EWKF (Einwegkunststoffonds) is a fund created by the German government as a reponse to the Single Use Plastics Directive published by the European Union in 2019. The platform where producers register their SUP is named DIVID.
Do I need to register myself on DIVID?
Producers as well as foreign producers selling their products in the German market are required to register their SUP products on DIVID.
Amazon sellers are required to be registered on DIVID before 01.01.2025 and provide Amazon with their registration number to avoid being suspended.
